Mechatronics

Mechatronics

With the expansion of manufacturing throughout the Carolinas, high schools and community colleges are feeling the pressure of offering programs to fill the industrial need. The exciting field of mechatronics is bridging the gap.

Mechatronics merges the principles of electrical, mechanical, computer, and industrial engineering. This field of study helps students learn about product design, instrumentation, manufacturing methods, and computer integration with process and device control. Industry needs mechatronics engineers to continue to develop innovative products with performance, quality, and low cost.

Forbes Magazine has rated the skilled worker as the “Hardest Job to Fill” for the past two years. Companies are faced with replacing a retiring work force with personnel untrained and unskilled to meet the needs of today’s advanced manufacturing and engineering environments. Good paying jobs are available and sustainable for those with training in mechatronics.

Carolina Training is able to assist you in implementing a Mechatronics program, whether it’s a High School or Higher Education.
